Nikephoros: new website online |

The bibliographic database of the journal Nikephoros has been revised.

The journal Nikephoros is devoted to sport in antiquity. It focuses on competitive sport and physical exercise in their overall social functions and their embedding in religion, culture, politics and the everyday lives of people in antiquity. It is a leading publication in its field. The journal is co-edited by Christian Mann from the Department of Ancient History at the University of Mannheim.

The bibliographic database Nikephoros has been rebuilt in cooperation with the University Library Mannheim. The database provides bibliographical information on publications on sport in antiquity.
